THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (May 5, 2008) – Although H-E-B Central Market in Market Street is known as a grocery destination for most shoppers; something sweet and nostalgic has been blooming from within the retailer’s floral department.
H-E-B Central Market in Market Street announced the transformation of its existing floral department into Blooms, a full-service florist where shoppers can fulfill their every floral need. Unlike most grocery-chain florists, Blooms can accommodate high-volume special occasion orders such as weddings or corporate events and will handle the set-up and delivery of those items as well.
Blooms also features more than 100 varieties of fresh-cut flowers from around the world. Its staff can create everything from the exclusive and elaborate to the trendy or more traditional arrangements, according to Blooms Floral Manager Tima McMichael.
Aside from its floral arrangements, Blooms offers fruit baskets, indoor and outdoor plants and vase arrangements to suit a range of special occasions.
“Our location within a grocery store allows Blooms to accent any order with items ranging from spirits to specialty foods,” says McMichael.
For more information about Blooms and their floral services, please contact Blooms Manager Tima McMichael at 281-298-1504 or visit the HEB Central Market Store in Market Street at 9595 Six Pines Drive, Sunday through Saturday from 7AM to 8PM.
Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and Six Pines Drive. Market Street is a joint-venture development of Trademark Property Company and Kimco Developers, Inc., an affiliate of the real estate investment trust (REIT) Kimco Realty Corporation.
