TOWN CENTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT RESPONDS TO TROLLEY SERVICE QUESTIONS

Since the launch of The Woodlands Waterway Trolley in July, thousands of those who live, work and visit The Woodlands have experienced the free transportation service.

In fact, an estimated 7,000 passengers are using the free, air-conditioned and heated, ADA-compliant trolleys each month.

And as these numbers grow, so too do the questions posed by passengers who rely on the service for transportation to Market Street, The Woodlands Mall, Town Green Park and other points of interest.

Here are responses to some of the most popular questions posed by trolley passengers:

•  Is there a charge to ride the trolleys? The service is free, regardless of how long you ride the trolley.

•  Where do the trolleys stop? Each trolley stops at The Woodlands HEB at Market Street; Community Center/South Montgomery County Library; Town Green Park; Central Park at Market Street; the South Entrance to The Woodlands Mall; and Woodloch Forest Drive at the Ring Road. Trolleys also operate along The Woodlands Waterway Ò with stops at Landry's; Anadarko; Woodloch Forest Drive at the Waterway bridge; Waterway Avenue; at the south entrance of the Waterway Marriott; and the south exit of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

3. What are the trolley hours of operation? The trolleys operate daily from 11 am –

8 pm., however trolley service may vary due to special events or construction. Check the Town Center Improvement District website, www.town-center.com, for updates.

•  Are the trolleys air-conditioned? Yes, each trolley is air-conditioned and ADA

-compliant.

5. Can I promote a business on the trolleys? Town Center Improvement

District is developing plans to create advertising opportunities on panels inside each trolley. These panels should be ready mid-November. For more information on rates and availability, contact Steward Marketing directly at 281-210-2452.

For more information on the Town Center trolleys, contact Town Center Improvement District at 281-363-2447.
