LARGEST SEASONAL OUTDOOR ICE RINK IN THE SOUTHWEST COMES TO THE WOODLANDS, NOVEMBER 17 – JANUARY 16
THE WOODLANDS, TX (October 28, 2005) . . . You don’t have to travel to Rockefeller Plaza in New York City this holiday season to enjoy fantastic outdoor ice skating…the largest seasonal outdoor ice rink in the southwest is coming to The Woodlands Town Center.
Located at the corner of Six Pines and Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands, The Ice Rink At The Woodlands Town Center will be open daily from November 17, 2005 through January 16, 2006.
Hours of operation are: Monday through Thursday, 3 pm – 9 pm; Fridays, 3 pm–11 pm; Saturdays, 10 am–11 pm; and Sundays, noon until 7pm. Tickets are $9.50 for adults and children and include skate rentals. Tickets for children under five are $5 including skate rentals.
The Ice Rink At The Woodlands Town Center also will offer several promotions:
- Mondays-Bring a Friend Day
- Buy one ticket and get the next one free.
- Wednesdays-Dollar Off Day
- Save one dollar off all admissions.
- Thursdays-Hot Cocoa Day
- Complimentary hot cocoa at the indoor concession area.
- Fridays-Rock n’ Skate Night
- Skate to great rockin’ music and a fun-tastic light show from 8 - 11pm.
The Ice Rink is also available for private parties and corporate events either before or after regular business hours. Reservations must be made at least seven days in advance.

Before or after skating, visit Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland with its array of storybook displays in a two-acre area surrounding The Ice Rink At The Woodlands Town Center. Follow the carpeted pathways and wander among a fantasyland of magical, lighted toy soldiers, elves, doves, musical angels and snowmen.
Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland is free and open daily from dusk until 11 pm through January 3, 2006.
Parking for The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center and Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland is available at the Town Center Garage adjacent to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
