MARKET STREET OFFERS A HOST OF HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES DECEMBER 1-8

Market Street in The Woodlands Town Center will kick off a month-long holiday celebration with fun, FREE activities for the whole family. Don't miss out on these festive events that are sure to brighten the holiday season.

Events December 1 through 8 include:

December 1 Lighted Horse & Carriage Parade

7 pm Don't miss Market Street's signature holiday event that has become an annual tradition. Huge Clydesdales, petite miniature horses, and maybe even a donkey or two will entertain crowds with their colorful holiday carriages as they spread holiday cheer at Market Street.

December 2 Celebrate Jesus Christ

5 pm More than 600 members of the Celebrate Jesus Christ Foundation will sing Christmas carols at Market Street. Visitors are encouraged to join in! The Celebrate Jesus Christ Foundation aims to remind our community the true meaning of Christmas.

December 3 Northland Christian High School

11:30 am This mixed chorus from Northland Christian High School will sing Christmas carols in Central Park and at HEB. The group will perform at Market Street as part of a Goodwill tour that includes stops at local hospitals and other locations in the community.

December 3 Heaven Sent Choir

2 pm This group of approximately 50 students in grades 7-12 is made up of home-schooled students throughout the Houston area. The Heaven Sent Choir will perform Christmas concert favorites in Central Park.

December 4 Metzler Elementary School Choir

6 pm Under the direction of Becky Eiermann, Lisa Gonzales and Hope Louviere, this choir of approximately 65 4 th and 5 th graders will perform a fun holiday musical called “Crazy Carols.”

December 7 Kreinhop Krescendos Holiday Performance

7 pm This 100-member Elementary School choir is made up of 4 th and 5 th graders who will perform under the direction of Audra Culberson, Beth Mitchell and Aimee Vilcins. The holiday showcase includes singing, choreography and over 20 xylophone and percussion instruments.

December 8 Crossroads Baptist Church Kidz Choir

4 pm Under the direction of Rocky Gilmore and Sophie Jasch, this 90-member group of kids in grades 1-6 will perform a Christmas musical called “Meet Me at the Manger.” Before the musical, a group of Adult Worship choir members will be performing some Christmas favorites.

Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan's Mill Road and Six Pines Drive.
