Boogie to Beethoven VIP Preview Party a success!
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion hosted a special Boogie to Beethoven Gala Preview Party on its Main Stage. The event featured an exhibition by professional pool player Ewa “The Striking Viking” Laurance and was sponsored by Northern Trust and The Billiard Factory. In attendance were Pavilion Board Members, sponsors and special guests. The night was the perfect setting to officially kick off The Pavilion's Boogie to Beethoven gala .
On Feb. 9, 2008, The Pavilion hosts Boogie to Beethoven at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott, a fund-raising Disco Ball benefiting The Pavilion's Endowment Campaign. The gala features entertainment by KC & The Sunshine Band and comedian Judson Laipply, as well as one-of-a-kind auction items that include an electric guitar signed by ZZ Top and an acoustic guitar autographed by numerous artists. The winner of a 2006 Paramount-Matador chopper, signed by the builder and members of ZZ Top , also will be announced.
Tables of 10 at the gala range from $2,500 for a “Hot Pants” table (sold out) to $25,000 for a “Disco Ball” table. Individual tickets are $250. Other sponsorship opportunities are available.
