MARKET STREET TO HOST ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY IN CENTRAL PARK THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15
The holidays officially begin at Market Street on Thursday, November 15 from 6 – 8 pm as visitors enjoy music, snow showers, and a fireworks display at the 4 th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Central Park.
A ceremonial lighting of the giant, 70-foot Christmas tree will take place just after 6:50 pm as Nobody's Fool helps get the crowd in a festive mood with a variety of holiday favorites. Santa's holiday elves also will delight visitors as they stroll through the park.
The student choir from First Baptist Church of The Woodlands will perform special Christmas carols. The choir consists of approximately 40 students in grades 7- 12 and is under the direction of Worship Pastor Don Barrick.
Sign language will be provided for hearing impaired guests.
Be sure to come early and get a jump-start on your holiday shopping. Concierge services are available at the Concierge Desk to help find that perfect gift.
Parking is available in the Market Street garage located in South Market Street. Guests are also able to valet in front of the Concierge Desk located on North Market Street for $5.
Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan's Mill Road and Six Pines Drive.
