Kids Café Comes to Market Street
The Woodlands - Market Street has teamed up with Kids Café, an interactive puppet show, to provide outdoor children's entertainment. Beginning September 17, 2005 children will be mesmerized with songs, dramas, unicorns, bears and more in the open air park in the center of Market Street.
Through exciting stories and song, Kids Café teaches children important life lessons. "We believe today's children need positive messages and images that do not corrupt their child-like innocence," states Laura Watson, Kids Café Program Director. The wholesome activities in the Kids Café theatre are used to teach children positive character attributes and to give the children the space they need to express themselves. Children and adults alike are encouraged to join in with the drama and song.
Kid's Café is slated to perform in Central Park at Market Street the third Saturday of every month from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. The show includes original songs and script by Trisha Lowenfield , Art Director of Kids Café. "We have created an entertaining, professional venue for kids and parents to come and enjoy. The show is full of variety, excitement and imagination," Lowenfield adds.
Market Street is a 34-acre urban village packed with national, regional and local retailers and restaurants. Outdoor entertainment is provided weekly, free of charge, for all ages.
