The Woodlands Development Company Pledges Its Support for The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala

| The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC) recently donated $30,000 to Interfaith of The Woodlands in support of The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala honoring The Woodlands 2007 Hometown Heroes. Tim Welbes and Alex Sutton, co-presidents of The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC), recently presented a $30,000 donation on behalf of the company to Interfaith of The Woodlands in support of The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gal a, honoring the 2007 Hometown Heroes . TWDC has also agreed to host The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala VIP Sponsorship Party at the new Fazio Clubhouse in Carlton Woods Creekside in The Woodlands' newest Village of Creekside Park, according to Joel Deretchin, vice president of public affairs for the company. The Gala is scheduled for Saturday, October 13, 2007 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Proceeds from the gala benefit Interfaith of The Woodlands, the primary social services organization in the community.
The 2007 Hometown Heroes will be inducted into the Hometown Heroes Hall of Fame at the festivities. Since this annual tradition began in conjunction with The Woodlands 25 th Anniversary Celebration in 1999, 67 individuals and four businesses have been selected for this prestigious honor.
