A fabulous evening awaits the individuals attending The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala Honoring the 2007 Hometown Heroes.

The black tie optional event benefiting Interfaith of The Woodlands will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Tim Welbes and Alex Sutton, co-presidents of The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC), are the co-chairs of the event.

According to Susan Vreenland-Wendt, co-chair of the gala program committee and director of marketing for TWDC, “In addition to honoring the Hometown Heroes, attendees will enjoy spectacular entertainment, dining and auction items as part of the evening festivities.”

A few of the incredible live auction items consist of a beautiful pair of 18 karat gold earrings from Donoho's Jewellers; exquisite artwork by Kevin Sloan; a commemorative Administaff Small Business Classic framed poster with many prominent

player signatures including golf legend Arnold Palmer; and a true Hollywood experience with four VIP seats at an upcoming Dr. Phil taping, upgraded Marriott Hotel accommodations, and two, first class tickets.
