COLLECTION OF CLASSIC CARS TO ROLL INTO MARKET STREET
The Woodlands Car Club Hosts Classic Car Show on Saturday, October 8
THE WOODLANDS, TX. (September 27, 2005) . . .Remember that old Camaro you used to cherish, the Corvette you dreamed about as a teenager or the oldie-but-goodie Chevrolet Impala that served as the first “family” car?
In what will seem like a trip back in time, these and many other classics, customs,
street rods, imports and trucks, each in mint condition, will roll into Market Street for the Woodlands Car Club Classic Car Show on Saturday, October 8 from 10 am – 3 pm.
And if the collection of classic cars isn’t enough to take you back to the great times of the 50’s and 60’s, oldies favorites from Blackie and the Bullets certainly will. The group will perform in Market Street’s Central Park from 11 am - 2 pm.
Fees to enter a car in the show will benefit the Montgomery County Women’s Center and The Woodlands American Legion Post 305.
In case of inclement weather, a rain date has been set for Saturday, October 15.
Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and Six Pines Drive.
