Interior Decorator gives tips on transitioning from spring to fall at
Fall Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands

TAKE YOUR HOME FROM "FAMILIAR TO FABULOUS"
WITH JONI PORTER

Saturday and Sunday, September 27 and 28

THE WOODLANDS - Interior Decorator Joni Porter, owner of House Sweet It Is!, has been helping clients discover their unique style for over five years. Specializing in one-day room makeovers, Porter uses existing furniture and accessories to take homes from the familiar to fabulous. Porter will present seminars on both Saturday and Sunday, September 27 and 28, at the Fall Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands, in The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. She will demonstrate how to quickly and affordably transition a room from summer to fall. Woodlands homeowners Dolores and Steve Terni recently called on Porter to transform their Carlton Woods home into a more livable space for their on-the-go family. "Joni not only read the colors and shapes that our house needed, she also read my soul. She has a very special touch and a wonderful ability to make things flow," said Dolores Terni. Porter will give away a one-day room makeover to an attendee at the show.

Also on the home scene will be Woodlands Fabrics & Interiors, displaying over 20 drop-dead gorgeous design ideas on their Giant Wall of Window Treatments. This 40-foot long exhibit of material abundance will give attendees plenty to dream about. With three designers on staff, Woodlands Fabrics & Interiors is known for their stunningly beautiful bedding ensembles, dramatic window treatments, slipcovers, upholstery, custom furniture and scrumptious pillows. Samples of their decadent creations will be on display, and some lucky

attendee will win a $100 gift certificate to help turn those dreams into reality.
Attendees will want to bring their checkbooks, because there will be plenty of shopping opportunities at the show, including the Home Décor Store by Something Special Interiors. The store will feature fall floral designs, pumpkin arrangements, Christmas trees, a large array of holiday wreaths, ornaments, angels, reindeer and hundreds of other gift items.
Home decorating is not limited to four walls, and Houston's favorite gardener, Kathy Huber, will give gardeners tips in her seminars on Cool Season Color in the Garden and Bulbs for the Holidays. Huber will present seminars on both Saturday and Sunday.

Golf and Lawn Turfs will be on hand to give away a $6500 PUTTING GREEN. Other exhibitors include: Thompson's Landscaping exhibit of FALL LANDSCAPING schemes; Absolute Cabinets' FAMILY KITCHENS (they're not just for cooking anymore!); Expo Design Center's BATH SHOWCASE with opulently decorated canopy whirlpool tub; Vision Audio's ULTIMATE HOME THEATER, the latest in technology and plush seating for home media rooms.

If you're building a home, planning a remodeling job, or just want to give your home a little extra pizzazz with a seasonal decorating update, the Fall Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands is the place to be. Over 200 exhibitors will present the latest in products and services to help homeowners turn their house into a castle.

And what better place for a Home & Garden show than The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, situated by a meandering river in a welcoming wooded retreat, with area shopping and restaurants close by at The Woodlands Mall.
Tickets: $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, no charge for children. Complimentary parking. Free admission to those who bring their new construction blueprints.

Hours: Saturday, September 27, 9am-7pm; Sunday, September 28, 10am-6pm.
