“WATERWAY NIGHTS” AT WATERWAY SQUARE IN THE WOODLANDS
PROVIDE FREE SUMMER FUN FOR FAMILIES
 
 
THE WOODLANDS, TX (May 18, 2012) – Free family fun continues at Waterway Square in The Woodlands with the return of “Waterway Nights” featuring live music and strolling entertainers every Saturday in June from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
 
Produced by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau, this season’s line-up includes top country hits and rock n’ roll from the Dusty Spur Band, smooth jazz with the Legacy Band, party-and-dance favorites by Little Queen Band, the variety band Reflex, and local favorite Route 66.
 
“Waterway Nights” entertainment schedule is as follows:
 
June 2: Dusty Spur Band / Balloonist and Clown
 
June 9: Legacy / Juggler / Unicyclist and Face Painter
 
June 16: Little Queen Band / Balloonist and Clown
 
June 23: Reflex / Juggler/Unicyclist and Face Painter
 
June 30: Route 66 / Magician/Stilt Walker and Face Painter
 
While at Waterway Square, dine at one of more than 15 restaurants surrounding the area or pack a picnic to enjoy while listening to great live music.
 
“Waterway Nights” is free and open to the public thanks to The Woodlands Development Company, Munday Chevrolet, and Local State Farm Insurance Agents – Corey LeJeune, Kyle Sherburne and Joared Dolan.
 
Limited, free curbside parking is available along Lake Robbins Drive, Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square Place, and Timberloch Place. Additional parking is available at the 24 Waterway Parking Garage (corner of Fountain Plaza & Lake Robbins Drive), the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court) and the parking lot along the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place, prices vary.
